  • Kids & volunteers will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer, including when arriving and leaving.

  • Social-distancing guidelines will be encouraged (knowing that this isn’t always possible with kids).  This can include ‘air-hugs’ & ‘air-high-fives,’ keeping kids spread out, and encouraging the use of masks.  Also, activities will take place outside when possible.

  • Children’s ministry is off-limits to anyone (child, parent, volunteer) who has had a fever over 99.5 in the past 24 hours.  A touchless thermometer may be used to screen kids and volunteers before participating.

  • Volunteers who have displayed covid-19-type symptoms will not serve until they are symptom-free for 14 days.

  • Surfaces in kids’ rooms will be cleaned each week prior to use.

  • A 'dirty-bin' will be used for toys and items that have been played with in order to avoid cross-contamination.

  • Nursery workers will wear masks.

  • Parents will be notified to change their child’s diaper when needed, and wipe down surfaces after use.
